The Transactional Law Honor Society is an honor society that exposes its members to the field of transactional law. The mission of the organization is to teach practical skills through hands-on experience. All members participate in the drafting of transactional documents and the negotiation of their terms. Each year a few select members are chosen to represent Widener at regional transactional competitions to compete against students from other law schools. Our members prepare for competitions by attending trainings with faculty and practitioners. Preparation includes lectures from practitioners, drafting conferences, and mock negotiations.
