Message from Dean Daly:
Please congratulate students Michelle Kocher (4ED) and Jennifer Young
(4ED) and their coach, Patrick Johnston. Michelle and Jennifer comprised
one of two teams representing Widener in the Region 2 finals of the annual
Negotiation Competition run by the ABA. Michelle and Jennifer were one of
only four teams out of 24 teams that advanced to the second day of the
competition, and they finished as the third best team overall. Moreover,
some judges individually would have ranked then higher than third after the
second day of the competition.
Message from Dean Daly:
Please join me in congratulating the team of Ethan Singleton and John King
for their impressive performance in the National Veteran’s Law Competition
last weekend. The team, coached by Leslie Johnson, advanced to the final
four and argued at the U.S. Court of Appeals in Washington D.C. They
finished third out of 22 teams from around the country and received an
award for the 2nd highest brief score in the competition. Well done, Ethan
and John!
