New MJ/MBA Dual Degree Program

Widener Law School’s Graduate and Compliance Programs have joined in a collaborative effort with Widener University’s School of Business to offer an MJ/MBA dual degree.  The MJ is a Master of Jurisprudence with a concentration in regulatory analysis and compliance. The MJ/MBA will provide students with the opportunity to pursue graduate education simultaneously in both compliance and business. Applicants will benefit not only from the strength of both academic programs but from a condensed schedule dual degree that will put the applicant in the job market with a strategic advantage. This program allows students to accelerate both degrees by reducing the required credits from 62 credits (if both programs are completed consecutively) to 48 credits. The dual degree can be completed in approximately two-and-a-half years. Students who successfully complete the program will receive two separate degrees and may attend both commencement ceremonies.  Classes begin January 2015.
