“When Government is the Controlling Shareholder: Implications for Delaware” will be presented by Professor Edward Rock at 11 a.m., Friday, October 9, 2009 in Polishook Room 203 on the Delaware campus. Hosted by the Delaware Journal of Corporate Law, Professor Rock will discuss the impact of the federal government as the new controlling shareholder in a number of Delaware-based corporations. Specifically, Professor Rock will address the issue of whether or not the existing private law structures to regulate controlling shareholder behavior may be replaced by federal public law norms.
