Aaron Kostyk

Aaron Kostyk is currently a second year student at Widener University School of Law. Aaron graduated cum laude from Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado with a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in Pre-Law in 2012. Although Aaron was born in Philadelphia, he has spent the majority of his life in Southwest Colorado and accordingly enjoys snowboarding, hiking, reading, and travel. During his undergraduate experience, he interned with both the Durango Chamber of Commerce and the Durango Area Association of REALTORS in addition to serving as a representative in the Fort Lewis College student senate (ASFLC). This past summer, Aaron was given the fantastic opportunity to intern with the Honorable Lisette Shirdan-Harris in the criminal division of the Court of Common Pleas in Philadelphia. During his first year at Widener Law, Aaron was awarded best 1L direct examination in the AAJ mock trial competition and has made the dean’s list one semester.  Following graduation, Aaron hopes to practice criminal defense and family law in Philadelphia.
