Dr. William Poole is the former President and Chief Executive Officer of the Federal Reserve bank of St. Louis. Poole was also a member of the Council of Economic Advisers and a member of the Academic Advisory Panels of the Federal Reserve Banks of New York and Boston. He will be discussing the current politics of the federal reserve and the various stages involved in improving our banking system’s stability on Thursday, October 8th, at 5:00 in Ruby Vale Court Room.
