H1N1 (Swine Flu): Google Maps shows flu shot providers in the U.S.

September 22nd, 2011

Google offers a new feature in its Maps Web site that lets U.S. residents find   locations for getting seasonal and H1N1 flu shots.

Google warns that the flu-shot finder service doesn’t yet have comprehensive data on all providers because it is still gathering that information.

Google Maps will not provide information if a particular provider has run out of vaccines, either. Thus, people are advised to call the providers before heading to their location.
