As you are aware, Professionalism Day is next week, Wednesday, October 27, 2010. The Committee for Professionalism Planning has put together a program which we hope will be informative and enriching. Focusing on professionalism topics designed to help bridge the transition between law school education and law school practice, you will have an opportunity to hear from members of the legal community, many of whom are alumnae of the Law School. There will be three separate Professionalism Day programs, and students must attend the program associated with their division and number of years in law school. After the plenary session where everyone meets in a large group to hear panel presentations, the final component of each program is a “breakout session,” where students choose one of the concurrent sessions offered, based on personal interest. (Please note that students change rooms for the breakout sessions.)
