Region III of the National Bar Association is hosting a writing workshop geared towards 1st year law school students at Drexel Law School on October 30, 2010.  The workshop will focus on how to write effectively for law school with an emphasis on memo and brief writing during the morning session.  Additionally, the workshop aims to get the students focused on important topics early in their law school career, including the importance networking; serving on a journal, moot court and/or trial team; and judicial clerkships.

The workshop is free and open to all first year law students.  We also will accept registrations from law school graduates looking to hone their writing skills depending on space limitations.

To register or if you have any questions, please contact the workshop organizers: Monté Squire at msquire@ycst.com, or Tomika N. Stevens at tnstevens@juno.com. You must register by October 16, 2010.
