Update on H1N1 Flu for May 7, 2009

H1N1 flu update May 7, 2009

The CDC is no longer recommending the cancellation of classes or public events in schools with cases of H1N1 flu. Neither campus of the School of Law has any confirmed or probable cases of the flu at this time. Exams are proceeding normally.

As of last night, there were 38 confirmed cases of H1N1 flu in Delaware. In Delaware, all reported cases have been mild, and individuals are recovering after having received treatment. The Division of Public Health in Delaware has a hotline for questions that is currently operating M-F 9-5:30. Call 1-866-408-1899.

In Pennsylvania, there have been 2 confirmed cases and 18 probable cases of the H1N1 flu in counties around the state. Cases reported have been mild.
