INVITATIONS, ANNOUNCEMENTS AND TICKETS Each graduate will receive a generic packet of 10 announcements and 10 invitations. Guest seating under the tent does not require a ticket; all seating is on a first-come first-serve basis. The ceremony will also be broadcast into Polishook Hall. Distribution of packets will occur at the Career Development Office the week of April 15 utilizing the following schedule:

  • Monday, April 15 9:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, April 16 9:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday, April 17 9:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
  • Thursday, April 18 9:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
  • Friday, April 19 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

HANDSHAKE PHOTOGRAPH The University has engaged a commercial photography studio to take an individual color portrait of each graduate receiving his or her diploma. The studio will mail a proof of the portrait to your home within two weeks after commencement. Additional information will be included in your invitation and announcement packet.

LIVE WEBCAST The commencement ceremonies will be broadcast live over the internet. The webcast will begin streaming at least five minutes before the event begins. Family and friends who cannot attend in person should log in early to ensure a good connection.

VIDEO RECORDING The entire commencement ceremony will be recorded. DVDs of the ceremony will be available for $10.00; order forms are available at the Registrar’s Office.

COMPOSITE PICTURE A composite picture of the entire graduating class will be presented to each graduate during the commencement ceremony.
